Day-wise Maharashtra Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Mumbai
Arrival at Mumbai airport or railway station. Visit Gateway of India, Marine Drive and enjoy evening leisure along the coastline.
Day 2 – Mumbai Sightseeing
Visit Siddhivinayak Temple, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (outside view), Elephanta Caves (optional ferry) and Juhu Beach.
Day 3 – Mumbai to Pune
Drive to Pune via the Mumbai–Pune Expressway. Visit Shaniwar Wada, Aga Khan Palace and enjoy a relaxed city evening.
Day 4 – Pune to Aurangabad
Travel to Aurangabad by road / train / flight. Evening free for rest or local shopping.
Day 5 – Ajanta Caves Excursion
Full-day visit to Ajanta Caves, famous for ancient Buddhist murals and rock-cut architecture.
Day 6 – Ellora Caves & Grishneshwar Temple
Visit Ellora Caves including Kailasa Temple followed by darshan at Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga and sightseeing of Bibi Ka Maqbara.
Day 7 – Aurangabad to Ratnagiri
Travel to Ratnagiri via scenic routes. Evening free to relax by the Konkan coastline.
Day 8 – Ganpatipule & Ratnagiri Sightseeing
Visit Ganpatipule Temple, Ganeshgule Beach and Ratnadurg Fort. Experience Konkan culture and cuisine.
Day 9 – Ratnagiri to Pune / Mumbai Departure
Drive back to Pune or Mumbai for onward journey. Tour concludes with heritage, spiritual and coastal memories of Maharashtra.
